I can't wait for tomorrow to be over... at least the school part of it. Why you ask? Because then I have a week off from school, which really makes me love thanksgiving! This week started off good...great even, Jesse got a massage therapist to come to his apartment and give me a massage on Monday evening (he is sooo sweet)! Then, Tuesday had to come along; I had to get up early and drive home to Las Cruces, hurry up and change into "professional" clothes so that I could present an hour long presentation at the end of the day. Getting everything ready for this presentation has been hell, there is no other word for it. There were four of us in the group, however essentially two of us did close to all the work for it. I am really perturbed with one lady in the group, she is in her 50s, can't show up any less than 30 minutes late for any group meeting even when we're coming directly from the classroom to the lab, and likes to tell people she has problems with ADD but she can't get it diagnosed (she totally uses this as a crutch). So anyway, when she finally does show up she has up stop to tell her what we're working on, stays there for a couple of minutes and disappears for a while after which she comes back and has us stop working again to bring her up to speed, then she goes on to start a conversation completely off subject and rambles for at least 10 minutes straight after which I have to interject and say "we need to focus on our project". The other two girls are way to nice and feel bad about stopping her or intrupting while she is in mid sentence but I don't because she is a pain in my big fat booty! BTW, my interjection always makes the other two girls laugh under their breath or turn their heads and laugh.
So after a long day of classes and working on getting ready to present in pretty much every spare moment it came time for the actual presenting. As we go to present the 50+ year old has ther nerve to say "since you guys did everything esle, I'll do most of the talking" as though she was going to do her part by talking about stuff she knew nothing about because she hadn't hellped with it. What's even worse is the fact that everytime one of the people who actually did work on it stated to say something she would but in and start trying to take over and give totally wrong information which the rest of us were left to correct and say thats not actually how that goes... plus she made us look even worse by not deciding to dress "professionally", she came dressed in an old raggedy t-shirt and sweats. Come on lady you are in your fifties, have some common sense and be respectful...you shouldn't need a babysitter. I was the youngest one in the group and that is exactly what I felt like. GRRRRR!!!!!
Anyways, that sent my mood soaring for pretty much the rest of this week while I'm at school. So that is why I can't wait for the end of school tomorrow.
Can't wait to see Jesse on Saturday and everyone else throughout the rest of next week!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I Tried
A few weeks ago Jesse had a Monday off... I think it was Columbus Day ( this really doesn't matter), so we walked down town in Silver City and went to the Co-Op a little health food store, he hadn't been there and we had been talking about going for a while. When we were there and looking around he saw some cookies from Kashi that he wanted and there were a few different kinds but only one of them didn't have stuff he was allergic to in them. He didn't get them there because they were kinda expensive and figured we could check at Walmart. So later on when we went to Walmart we checked and they a place for them but they were out; for the past few weeks every time I've gone to the store I have checked for those stupid cookies and they were always out. Finally last night when I went to Walmart I figured I would check and just maybe they would have the cookies and much to my surprise they did. So I got all excited and bought them and just waited in suspense to take them to Jesse... then I finally got back to his apartment and proudly announced that I had something for him and gave him the cookies. He then began to read the ingredients and a minute or two later he tells me he can't eat them because they have walnuts in them and he might be allergic....ALL my excitement was gone. Now the cookies are all mine which kinda means so much for trying to eat health, although they are Kashi and somewhat healthy. Oh well I guess thats how it goes and I shouldn't try so hard to be a good girlfeind. Oh yes and just to explain the picture above I discovered a tricky function on my camera and this is the result. I takes 16 pictures one after the other and I was trying it out on Jesse, who was not nearly as humored by it as I was.
Halloween
For Halloween I dressed up as a go-go dancer. I know I look quite hideous in that dress, but I threw it together at the last minute. This motorcycle was parked downtown so I couldn't help but to pose next to it... don't I look super sexy! I didn't stay out very long but I did get a couple good pictures.
Group shots
Who couldn't LOVE these pink tights...too bad Ididn't have some lime green boots to go with it.
